Love is Love at the Locarno Film Festival

As a longstanding sponsor of the prestigious Locarno Film Festival, Swatch is delighted to be directly involved in the festival’s 76th edition through the Swatch Art Peace Hotel and its Love is Love exhibition.

Featuring artworks from six of the former artists-in-residence, the exhibition will be on show from August 2 to 12, 2023, at BaseCamp, the Locarno Film Festival campus for young creatives.

To fly the flag of diversity, peace and love

Love is Love is a multidisciplinary exhibition featuring stunning artworks from former residents of the Swatch Art Peace Hotel. They were invited by Swatch to create a piece on the theme of "Love is Love, the colors of Pride" to celebrate a universal message of inclusion, diversity, and respect. Drawing inspiration from the colors of the 2023 Swatch Pride collection, each artist has used their creative talents to develop an artistic project in complete freedom, with an inspiring, amusing and moving result.

The exhibition Love is Love runs from August 2 to 12, 2023, at the Locarno Film Festival. Opening hours are from 5:30 pm to 9 pm each day. The exhibition is located at BaseCamp, Istituto Sant’Eugenio (Via al Sasso 1, 6600 Locarno). Ticket reservations are not required.
