Support Public Art for Triangle Park

I am proposing a public sculpture for Triangle Park at 4th Street and Blair Road NW in Takoma, Washington, D.C., as part of my application to the DC Commission on the Arts and Humanities Public Art Building Communities Grant Program.

The proposed sculpture is based on my drawing The Space Between Us and is about community, connection, acceptance, reflection, and the many perspectives that make up a neighborhood. The work is intended to create a welcoming point of gathering and conversation in a public space many residents, visitors, and local businesses experience every day.

The project is currently a proposal only. It would move forward only if funded and approved through the required District review processes, including DPR, DGS, ANC, HPO, DOB, and other appropriate agencies.

By signing below, you are expressing community support for the idea of bringing this public artwork to Triangle Park and supporting its continued review through the proper public process.

Thank you for taking the time to support public art, community connection, and the future of this neighborhood space.
